The former Liverpool player has released the house with a price advantage of 8.8 million.
The property register indicates that John Arne Riise (38 years old) and Louise Angelica (28 years old) bought the house in the Heissa district of Ålesund for 7,950,000 Swedish kroner in December 2016.
On Wednesday, an announcement was published on Finn.no indicating that Riise's house had been sold at a total price of NOK 8.8 million, the equivalent of NOK 850 000, or a purchase of over 38 years.
Riise's agent, Erland Bakke, confirmed to Nettavisen that John Arne Riise and his wife were selling the house in Ålesund.
– Yes it is true. The reason for the sale is that there is nothing left in Ålesund and they want to get closer to the east of Norway and the family. They love Ålesund a lot but want to get closer to the family, Bakke tells Nettavisen. The two have a family in eastern Norway, but Bakke said the couple had not yet decided to settle in Oslo.
Bakke also explains why the house was paid for 850,000 crowns more than for the purchase.
"They did something, there was more surface treatment, they got a little bit in the kitchen, they did a little bit on the walls, they painted a little bit and things like that," says Bakke.
Louise Angelica wrote about selling the house on Instagram: – A new chapter is starting now. Our house in Ålesund is for sale. We are heading to Oslo, according to Riise's wife.
The area of use of the property is 372 square meters.
