Forecasts show that strong pressure is emerging in Scandinavia this weekend, but next week there will be pressure on the central regions of the continent heading north.
"This means that a new front will be passing east of Norway this Tuesday, so it is possible that cold air will come in for precipitation to come in the form of snow or ice at the beginning of the day. Later in the day, it will rain, says Martin Granerød, meteorologist at the Meteorological Institute, NTB.
It is mostly the south of Norway and the east of Norway that are exposed and it is reported that there is going to be a lot of snow, as it seems now.
"It's probably not a stupid idea to switch to winter tires this weekend, as it's quite possible that snow is also coming into the lowlands," Granerød said.
But after all, the snow will not stay long, as already announced Wednesday.
