to play: Limit reading so everyone is played.
Blizzard reports that the game time in the World of Warcraft Classic demo will initially be limited to 60 minutes over a 90-minute period.
90 minutes "cooldown"
The time starts running as soon as you log in. After 60 minutes of play, you will be kicked out of the demo server. Then you will have to wait 30 minutes before you can reconnect.
– When the demo opens, we will use a game time limitation and a "recharge time" (which starts counting down when you log in) to ensure that as many people as possible are testing the demo. We're going to start a 60-minute game limit in a 90-minute period, writes Blizzard.
To illustrate how this works, we have the following examples:
- If you play for 60 minutes, you will be kicked out of the demo server. You can reconnect after 30 minutes.
- If you play for 30 minutes and log out for 60 minutes, you will start a new 60-minute period the next time you connect.
- If you play for 20 minutes and you log out for 20 minutes, you can play for 40 minutes before being kicked out of the server. After 10 minutes, you can reconnect and start a new 60-minute game in less than 90 minutes.
Talent calculator and database
The Fanside Wowhead recently launched a classic WoW talent calculator that's possible to find here. There is also a database that lists the objects and spells of the game.
The classic World of Warcraft demo will be possible when Blizzcon 2018 kicks off this weekend. Those who have purchased a Blizzcon virtual ticket will also be able to participate in the demo.
