During the past week, several players reported that gang members had disappeared at the beginning of the game and never returned to the tenant. It happens that Red Dead Redemption 2 is associated with an error, and Rockstar strives to find a solution.
Do not miss any mission
The developer indicates on the Rockstar Customer Support website that the problem is related to a task called Polite Society, Valentine Style in the second chapter of the game. If, at any point, the mission fails and loads from a checkpoint Previous, the entire four characters will be avoided from the tenant, including Sadie Adler and John Marston.
A patch will be implemented in a future update of the game, but the team did not specify when we can expect it. In the meantime, it is possible to avoid the error by not using the "Retry Checkpoint" function during the aforementioned assignment. Instead, you must cancel the assignment and start again if you fail.
If you have already passed this stage of the game, you are in Saksa. Rockstar indicates that lost characters will always appear if they have a quest for players. What you lack is the many conversations and movie sequences that help to establish the tight group that exists between the different gang members. At the beginning of chapter four, everyone comes back to the tenant anyway.
