A man died after a frontal collision between two cars on the E6 at Dovrefjell.

Per Solberg, chief of operations inland, announces to TV 2 that the driver of a car was driven by ambulance to the Lillehammer Hospital. The driver was awake when the person was transported from the place. The injury rate is unknown

The driver of the second car was reported dead on the spot.

– Rescue first aid was attempted from the ambulance. The person was declared dead on the spot, says Solberg.

Solberg announces TV 2 that they will now carry out follow-up and on-site investigation. Police now direct traffic after the accident.
