Nintendo released its financial results for this quarter of 2018 – between April 1 and June 30. And thanks to these results, we have learned how many Nintendo Switch and 3DSer devices have been distributed so far. Nintendo sent 19.67 million Switch consoles at the end of June 2018, and 1.88 million were sold in the first quarter.

On the software side, the numbers are also good. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze was released this quarter and 1.40 million pieces have been sold worldwide. It was sold 1.38 million copies of Mario Tennis Aces and 1.39 million copies of Nintendo Labo. A total of 17.96 million game titles were sold during this three-month period.

The Nintendo 3DSen also does not matter, since the system is now eight years old. 0.36 million units were sold this quarter (bringing total sales to 72.89 million 3DSer!) And 2.95 million game titles were sold to the system. Finally, 1.26 million copies of the new edition of the Nintendo Entertainment System: NES Classic Edition were sold in June
