Nobody managed to challenge Karsten Warholm on a 400-meter hurdle at the Diamond League convention in London on Saturday. The 22-year-old set a Norwegian record of 47.65.

Warholm found himself in lonely majesty and broke the previous record of 16 cents. There was also the voters' file. Time was the 23rd fastest in the world through the ages. It was his first major international victory this season.

The 22-year-old was back where he took the sensational 400m hurdle of the World Cup last August.

– Something is there. I knew it when I discovered that there were some of the same vibrations. I wanted to deliver the goods in the same space as I won the World Cup gold, "Warholm told NRK after finishing.

Soleklar Victory

At the Diamond League championship on Saturday at the London Stadium, Warhol was very difficult. Sunnmøringen opened very heavily in the seven lane, and none of the challengers failed to measure against the 22-year-old, who ran into a so-called victory in the race.

Warholm got off to a good start at the track and field championships in Berlin in August. The closest competitor was Yasmani Copello of Turkey who secured second place in the 79th hundredth of a second. The Irishman Thomas Barr took third place with time 48.99.

Samba did not participate

Warholm's greatest competitor, Abderrahman Samba, of Qatar, did not participate in the exercise. Qatar also ran 400 meters and set a personal best time of 44.62.
