The record price is open to all kinds of traditional music performed by musicians with or without Norwegian training. The only requirement is that the disc must be released in Norway.
This year, the jury has reviewed about 70 records released from August 31, 2017 to September 1, 2018.
The record label Take: equal to Lomen has a total of seven discs on the nomination list. For example, in the documentation category, two of Ta's three disks are equal, and in the category of traditional interactions, there are three of the label's four disks.
