In the early 2000s, the Canadian singer Avril Lavigne (34 years) conquered the world, with hit songs such as "Sk8ter boi" and "Complicated".

The album "Let Go" is in the charts, and she becomes the youngest female soloist to reach first place in the UK.

In 2003, however, there were rumors in the social media that the star had committed suicide after a deep sadness after the grandfather's death.

According to rumors, the record company has hired a double gangster, Melissa Vandella, to replace her after the death of the singer, according to US Weekly.

This has long led to confusion with the fans, and for years, different theories have been dragged several times, many having claimed that the writing, style and appearance of Lavignes' clothing had changed. Several have compared the old and new images of the 34-year-old and many are safe: Avril Lavigne is dead.

– Very strange

Fifteen years later, the pop star finally answers the wildest rumors.

When she visited the Australian radio show "KISS 1065Opens a New Window" this week, she was asked if she had heard the rumors of her death.

"Yes, many think it's not me when they meet me, so it's very strange," she said, adding:

– So how can we believe it? she said, according to US Weekly.

Last year again, old rumors had resumed with the subject #notmyavril, where several Twitter users thought they had clear evidence of replacing Lavigne by a double rule.

"Okay, so I looked at those pictures and my eyes have different shapes," wrote one of them, while another pointed out that her smile had changed .

The artist's writing was also a theme on which a Twitter user thought to have changed dramatically over the years.

A number of humorous messages have also been shared on social media, where people have duped the rumors that have once again manifested themselves:

Partit

The Canadian artist has released five albums, but since 2013, she has remained relatively silent. This year, however, she will be back – five years after the release of her fifth album.

In 2014, rumors claimed that the singer was suffering from health problems and alcohol abuse after broadcasting a Twitter message. In the message, apparently taken from a fake account, she stated that she did not feel well and had health problems, but when she reached the star, she was answered as follows: "These rumors about rehabilitation are hysterical."

The following year, we learn that Lavigne is affected by the borreliosis disease, an infection that, according to her, would be the consequence of a bite received in 2014.

"I stayed in bed for two damn years – it's a bacterium – a spiroket – so when you start taking antibiotics, you kill them," she recently told Billboard.

According to the Norwegian Store dictionary, spiroket is a gram-negative, wire-shaped, spiral-germ-shaped bacterium. It is the genus Borrelia, she was bitten, which can cause borreliosis.

"It's a smart bacterium, it turns into a cyst so you have to take antibiotics at the same time, it took a long time before the diagnosis was diagnosed, and it was very bad," he says. she told the music magazine.

She began to fear for her own life, she explained.

"I had agreed to die from time to time, I had the impression of being under water and drowning." I tried to get up. to catch my breath.

Falling for the rock stars

As mentioned in the biggest stars of the 2000s, the 34-year-old was particularly famous for his rock style, unlike pop stars such as Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson and Christina Aguilera, who also reigned at that time.

In 2003, when Dagbladet met her at a concert she was holding in Oslo, she spoke of the "tomboy" stamp.

"I just think I'm not a pretty typical girl who panics" oh my God. "I grew up with boys, I played ice hockey, I drove in all sports, I had an older brother who knocked me out, I ended up fighting all the time. I have a lot of aggression in me, she said at the time.

She also acknowledged that she traditionally attracted rock stars – which she has recently proven.
