Anders B. Mol and Christian S. Sørum show that they are on a road to the Tokyo Olympics. On Saturday, the volleyball couple played for the finals of the majors tournament in Switzerland.
After losing their first match against Americans Jacob Gibb and Taylor Crabb 17-21, the Norwegians come back with two wins in two sets.
The first was finished 23-21, while the last gave 16-14 win in favor of Norway. Thus, Mol (21) and Sørum (22) were able to cheer up after 52 minutes of play on the sand in Gstaad.
The majors' standings will be the best time for the young Norwegian duo. Mol / Sørum was ranked 9th as the best achievement in the major context before this year's trip to Switzerland.
In the final, the winner waits for the match between the Italian Paolo Nicolai / Daniele Lupo and the Spanish Pablo Herrera / Adrian Gavira.
