But before that is on the horizon, Fallout 76 is already coming this year, bringing the series into a more survival-based multiplayer context. Many people fear that this is beyond the more traditional games.

Bethesda's boss, Todd Howard, can tell GamesIndustry during an interview.

This is not the future, he says.

– Anyone who has already said "it's the future, and this way of doing is dead" has always been wrong. We like to try things. We wanted to try a multiplayer game for a long time now and we had this idea. We should not be afraid to try it.

It should be noted that Bethesda made a big point because they were producing big solo games last December.

– In our society, we made a mix of everything, that is to forget sometimes, continues Howard. He highlights the differences between Fallout Shelter, "Elder Scrolls Online", and "Elder Scrolls: Legends."

Howard adds that the mobile game "Fallout Shelter" has been a hit for the studio, despite the fact that the game has a relatively pleasant business model. It should have worked "surprisingly well".

– I was forced to meet many "monetization" experts during the development of Fallout Shelter, which did not work for us. I just said "so good" and when the game came out, we left Candy Crush after only a week.

It seems that Bethesda has not planned any great barriers to hack the money of future people

According to Howard, it is more important that people love the game and play it a lot, than the game is set to charge people.

– How can we keep those who play games a lot? How can we get them to pay without "Here's a countdown, give us some money?"
