Since the beginning of the year, there can be a dramatic increase in car prices in Norway. In this case, the EU introduces a new measurement method to measure the consumption and emissions of cars.
– In other words, cars that escape the same tariffs will be more expensive, unless the government intervenes, Nils Sødal
Do not want consumers to get the bill [19659004] They work for car buyers to avoid taking the bill when the new measurement method is fully implemented.
In Denmark, Sweden and Finland, governments report that they are not struck by sudden hopes for costs. In Norway, however, it is calm.
– We are concerned that the government will ensure that consumers take their full bills, "says Sødal.
Higher Emissions = Higher Costs
All new car models must pass this test. The measurement method, called WLTP, is more accurate than previously used, which means that the emission figures of the car will be higher. In Norway, the single charge is largely based on emissions.
The first step in the transition to new measurement methods will be September 1 of this year. Then the fees on a number of car models will increase. The change may cost between 10 000 and 30 000 crowns in additional costs
The NAF fears that this is only the first step of a two-stage rocket
