Casper Ruud is rewarded for the big game at the Båstad tournament on the world's freshest tennis rankings.
The Nordmann climbs six steps to 141st place.
Ruud represented his biggest achievement up here in the tennis career with the win on the 39th time, David Ferrer scored in the Båstad tournament on Thursday. The Spaniard was World Streak until 2014, but was relegated from 23rd to 62nd place after the exit against Ruud.
The Båstad Tournament finished in the quarterfinals against the 28th on Richard Gasquet's new ranking for Boy Snarøya. Ruud was always rewarded for the effort on the rankings.
Already on Monday, Ruud can provide a new byx in the list. 19-year-old tries to try Diego Schwartzman in the first round of the ATP tournament on the gravel in Hamburg. Schwartzman is currently ranked number 12 in the world and becomes the highest rated player that the Norwegian has met up here in his career.
The top ten world rankings are unchanged except that Dominic Thiem and John Isner have traded eight space while Isner drops to 9th place. Rafael Nadal still deserves to be followed by Roger Federer and Alexander Zverev.
