Danish driver MC shot 10-15 meters downhill at Trollstigen – rbnett.no

Police had Saturday at. 12 message about a motorcycle accident in Trollstigen, where a motorcycle rolled on the road slightly above Stigfossbrua. The road was closed for a while after ulykka, but the police informed at noon. 1:45 pm that the road was opened again.

Kl. At 1226, the police reported that the driver, an early twentieth century Danish, appeared unhurt.

As is well known, Trollstigen is one of Norway's most visited tourist attractions, and at the time of the accident the traffic is at its peak. Many campers and buses lined up before the road opened again, including tourists boat cruise ship on Åndalsnes.

Police say that the motorcycle is lying where it was found until late Saturday night of the mountain because of traffic congestion.

Romsdals Budstikke was present at Trollstigen downstream of the crash site. From there you could see the rescue helicopter, two ambulances, a fire truck, a rescue car and the police.

The road to the accident site is narrow. Several MC drivers stayed for a while talking to the police.

A bus driver demonstrated to the police where the ulykka occurred. At the scene of the accident, there is a hut with a jug just below.

In a similar place, a few years ago, a foreign man stumbled on the road. He was going to look at the sight, but missed the feast and fell in the throat. It was a complicated rescue mission, and the man miraculously survived.
