Drammen: It is the 21st of September last that the hard rock band Satyricon was produced at Union Scene in Drammen.

There must have been a strange situation when the group learned that their equipment had to be moved to the concert hall by young girls, who volunteered for the Union Rock concert organizer.

According to VG, organizer Kristina Annabel Bergene Sletten, head of Union Rock, mentioned the episode on the closed Facebook page Industry Prat.

She does not mention Satyricon's name but she writes:

"The situation was such that the person in the group said (and I quote):" We think the support was completely miserable. We would prefer to have two professional men and you will solve the problem. We do not want four girls who seem to die. "

She writes on:

– And yes, they may have judged us too weak to help. We are a 100% volunteer club and here groups have available workers. Moreover, the group itself did not help. But the fact is that it was not very clear and that I had to repair two male caregivers. At the rock club, we are just girls at the moment and I personally feel it was very uncomfortable and directly wrong to treat us that way. And that's not the only thing that happened that night. As soon as he entered the door, we were treated disrespectfully. It was said, "Is this the first time you are organizing a concert, or?".

Tore Narverud, producer at Union Scene, confirms to the newspaper that the incident concerns Satyricon.

"It is common for the contract to indicate the support the group will have, but not the kind of gender it should be associated with, and here there were young women who helped," he told VG.

"This is the first time we have received comments from the artists page about this," adds Narverud.

Satyricon members do not want to comment on this.
