Rising oil prices helped to increase the number of shares on the Oslo Stock Exchange on Wednesday. The main index closed at 895.61 points, up 0.53%.

The most traded stock of today was, as usual, Equinor, whose value had risen by 0.84%. Next come Marine Harvest (-3.30%), Aker BP (+ 2.50%), Telenor (+ 1.09%) and Subsea 7 (-1.08%) in the list of the five most traded shares.

The winning shares of the day are Photocure (+ 8.84%), Nordic Semiconductor (+ 8.75%) and Wallenius Wilhelmsen (+ 8.25%).

Not so well, WR Entertainment has dropped, with a drop of 22.73% and Induct (-19.40%).

Oil prices rose 0.2% in the last 24 hours and a barrel of oil from the North Sea was traded for close to $ 72 on Wednesday afternoon.

Outside Europe, the main exchanges also progressed during the day. The DAX 30 in Frankfurt is up 0.9%, the CAC 40 in Paris is up 1.2%, while the FTSE 100 in London has increased by 1.0%.
