Saron's Dal had the same room for 40 years, and there was a lot of replacement needed, but Sørensen said it was not just the reason they chose to go wrong.

– We did not do this solely for ourselves. I spent 65 years and I could manage with the old room. But now we give future generations an excellent tool for spreading the gospel, showing that we believe in them, he says.

Only the skeleton is left by the old room. Among the things that are refurbished are the stage, the toilets, the chairs, the desk and the ceiling.

– Our hall is home to a compact story. There have been thousands of people here every summer. We wanted to highlight the fact that it has become new in a special way, and we thought that this could be a great opportunity to ask Prime Minister Erna Solberg to join the party. opening, "said Sørensen.

According to Sørensen, Saron's Dal had a deduction of about 3 million crowns to renovate the room. They have collected this by using donations of money in the last year. In addition, they received support from the Kvinesdal Municipality of about 1.4 million. The total price of the new hall should have been about 25 million kroner.

According to Sørensen, the foundation of the mission is 20 years old to repay the money.
