Already in February this farm "Farmen" was revealed, and it was known then that it was at the farm of Gjedtjernet in the municipality of Crane this season will take place.

The farmhouse is surrounded by a beautiful nature and is located in Finnskogen just outside Kirkenær – near Kongsvinger

– Finnskogen is an area we would like use where a good story "Farmen" we have not used before, Raymond Mikael Elveland in Strix told TV 2 earlier this year.

That the popular reality series is now played on Finnskogen is not as popular with everyone. Several residents of the municipality of Grue are strongly responding to the choice of farm, especially since earlier this month, Fylkesvei 201 was closed throughout the registration period – from July 26 to October 7 .

On the Facebook group "The conservation and growth of Crane Finnskog (Svullrya and surroundings)" discusses more of the situation and claims that it will be a problem for local traffic.

– Changes in time

A citizen of the Municipality of Crane, Hans Magnus Martinsen, tells Dagbladet that despite the fact that more claims the road was able for both cars, buses and school buses earlier, time has changed

– The problem is that the vehicles that used to circulate there have changed. Cars and buses have grown and the road is getting tired. In addition, he takes safety on the road and, according to Martinsen, there is no car protection or other rocket along the road.

The market value of the municipality was put on the ground as a counter-argument. This is critical in Martinsen.

– I've seen the farmer many times, and I do not want to go to, for example, Halden because I see a beautiful farmhouse, he says to Dagbladet.

Market Value

The Mayor of the Crane Municipality, Wenche Huser Sund (H), tells Dagbladet that the detour is unfortunate. She still hopes that residents will be able to live with it for a few weeks, highlighting the tremendous value the "Farmen" will have for the municipality and Finnskogen.

– I have worked a lot to get the Farmen here. It's a giant smile with huge market value, she says.

In addition, the rapporteur explains that she herself was present when the production had to choose a farm and described the Gjeddjernet farm as "perfect" for the program.

the reasons for the application. I've been to the farm myself and the Fylkesvei 201 traffic is clearly mentioned below. This destroys the illusion, and it becomes incredible that you live 100 years back if you hear trucks pass by, "she says.

Many of the people who criticize the action respond well to the detour, especially for emergency vehicles. However, the municipality of Crane has found a solution, according to the rapporteur.

– Commercial vehicles are allowed to move normally on the road, says Huser Sund.

Problematic

Some people feel that there is too little information on the current problem, something that Huser Sund regrets, but the rapporteur stresses that the measure only applies to for a short period of time. After all, she earns a lot of money

– We must remember that the roads are closed regularly and always for road works, and I only have to regret that someone finds it very problematic. There are two detours where one is only two or three kilometers longer than the original road. It will take ten more minutes, she says.

– Of course, I would like to leave the road, but I choose to think that we will win this in the long run, Huser Sund reiterates.

Press Attaché for "Farmen" in TV 2, Alex Iversen, told Dagbladet that it was necessary to close the road. He also thinks it's unfortunate that this creates problems for some people.

– It would not be possible to finish production without closing the road. The traffic would be so disturbing that we would have had to find another farm whose road had not been closed. Check-in takes place from early morning until late at night, so closing the road would not be an option.

– We are pleased that the municipality has been brought to our attention, but of course we are sorry that this is causing some problems. We hope that the positive attention that the region will receive when the farmer will appear on TV 2 this fall, says Iversen

The recording of the 14th regular season of "Farmen" begins next week and lasts a little more than eleven weeks. The result will be broadcast on television this fall. Participants are not known.
