In 2017, more than 470,000 used vehicles were manufactured in Norway. 425,000 whole – or approx. 90% of them were made via Finn.no, the dominant market for used cars in Sweden.

This represented a total value of approx. 137 billion NOK, which gives an average price of NOK 200 000 per car.

"We want to help clean up this market, which should of course be national, since Finn.no covers the entire country, so it is important that we have a good dialogue with other key players such as Police, the Consumer Council, the NBF and NAF Finn.no should be a transparent and serious market, where it will be safe to launch, says Håstein, who is surprised by so many difficulties in signing contracts for used cars.

– We find that the contract for free digital use on Finn.no is only used by approx. ten percent of private purchases.
