ØIF Arendal – Halden 26-27

See the end of the thriller at the top

Handball heroes Haldens have never competed in the Cup final. Tuesday night, they beat ArIFAL 27-26 and finally had the opportunity to present themselves in the final.

"You almost did not believe that when you came here, hurt?"

– Well, we are a warrior. The more we fail, the more we have to go to war. That's what we want to call warriors, said Kristoffer Henriksen TV 2 winner of the match at the end of the match.

The final of the cup will take place on December 29 in Oslo Spektrum.

Halden shrugged

Halden opened weakly and had both goals behind, but at the break, they had taken 14-14 advantage at Arendal.

The management hurried to hurry quickly after the rest, but it became very uniform in the match.

When there were only ten minutes left, Halden led 22-21. Arendal took a timeout, but Halden responded by increasing to 23-21 to Kristoffer Henriksen.

The last minutes were intense and entertaining. Arendal pushed to update. They succeeded when Sondre Paulsen settled 25-25 to the score, two and a half minutes before the end.

– The crowd traveled! It's completely impossible to watch now, said TV commentator 2, Harald Bredeli.

Thriller Attempt

One minute and ten seconds before the end – with Halden's leadership 26-25 – a new waiting period has been taken.

Sondre Paulsen returned to 26-26 with the half-minute again. Halden had a match point and put a timeout with 17 seconds.

Kristoffer Henriksen got the ball for the lead. Arendal missed his chance at Andre Lindboe – and Halden secured the last place.

Lindboe disappointed

Lindboe was very disappointed after the match and called his effort "junior fight". He told her that he should never finish so fast in the final innings, but thought that he had less time.

"You play for some of the biggest players in Norway – it's crazy annoying, that should not be at all," Lindboe told TV 2.

ØIF Arendal was in his only cup final up until now in 2014. Then they beat Bodø.

On Wednesday, TV 2 Sport 2 and Sumo will send the second semifinal between Bækkelaget and Elverum.
