Haugesund newspaper – Here are the cars that are most wrong

[ad_1]

ENGINE [Broom]: Are there car manufacturers that strive to provide high quality on their models. It is essential to ensure loyal customers and, of course, maintain good profitability.

There are many quality surveys around the world. Among the most notable include the study of the American Quality Study conducted by American J.D Power

. The analysis is very thorough and deals with any errors that occur on a new car during the first 90 days. Everything from one-button engine problems that does not work.

Labed for the British

The survey figures are based on the number of errors for 100 cars. This means that the lower scores reflect higher quality.

At the bottom of the quality survey, we find Land Rover. They have a total of 160 errors per hundred cars – something that is not particularly impressive. The average score of all the brands is 93.

Overall, at the bottom of the track, Jaguar belongs to the same group as Land Rover. They recorded 148 errors, contributing to a slightly scorched result for both British brands

Volvo with the lower position

The biggest surprise in the investigation is that Volvo is the third in the list of new cars with the most errors.

Swedes have a long tradition of building safe, solid cars. 122 bugs per hundred cars.

– This is obviously disappointing for Volvo. They sell cars like never before and are in the midst of a great model offensive. So it is not good to get such results.

– But Volvo has never managed to exceed quality surveys. There are mostly Japanese brands that dominated. This does not necessarily mean that other brands are bad cars, but that the Japanese is even better, says Broom's expert, Benny Christensen

19659019] It does not ignore the fact that quality problems may be partly due to growth pain.

– They have never produced more cars than now. It is natural to speculate that this can be a bit to the detriment of quality.

– However, you must fold your sleeves and grab this. I also think Volvo will do it. If you want to grow, satisfied customers are a must, says Broom-Benny.

Hyundai and Kia on top

At the other end of the scale, we find a group of cars that can really appreciate the results. Hyundai Automotive Group has all the car brands that get the highest score on quality survey.

The third is Hyundai, with a score of 74. In addition, Kia is in second place with 72 points and Genesis in the lead. The latter is Hyundai's luxury brand, as are Lexus for Toyota

and Apropos Toyota, which is well known for its quality. In this survey, they lie somewhat below 96 errors per hundred cars

Quality Increase

JD Power's quality survey highlights that the overall quality of automotive brands is increasing for the fourth year in a row . Compared to last year, the overall quality has increased by four percent, according to the survey.

The biggest problem for new cars today, which contributes the most to errors, is the infotainment and multimedia systems.
