Haugesund's diary – Kvelertak's singer plays – comes to Vangen with a new singer

MUSIC: The news that Kvelertak leader, Erlend Hjelvik, of Vikedal ends in the group was surprised today.

In an open letter to Facebook fans, Hjelvik writes, among other things, that it is "necessary" for him to follow his own pathways and that although the time spent in the group was at one and the same time fun and rewarding, he also took off

"Due to circumstances beyond my control, I will not be able to do our last four concerts which is planned in Norway this summer.I am sorry for the organizers of the festival and the fans who had planned to bring these concerts, "he writes, according to the Gaffa website.

Kvelertak was premiered as a band during the "Rock Day" of the Vangen Festival on August 24th. Vangen's office was unnecessarily agitated this morning. I can say that it will not be important for the festival

– Will the band play Vangen or not?

– There is a message in addition to the day of the direction. I do not have a practical answer yet. What I can say is that it does not matter for the festival, "says Steinar Liadal, festival director at Haugesund newspaper.

Kvelertak was started in 2007. Until today, the group consisted of Erlend Hjelvik, Vidar Landa, Bjarte Lund Rolland, Maciek Ofstad, Marvin Nygaard and Kjetil Gjermundrød. It is not yet confirmed whether the group plans to continue with a new front, writes Gaffa.
