More than 100,000 tons of meat are in stock. It is historically high, according to Nortura.

That's four times more than at the same time last year, the country writes.

"I do not want to say that the situation is dramatic, but it is a historically high stock," said director Ole Nikolai Skulberg on Nortura's total market for the newspaper.

The pork stock has exceeded 6,000 tons since the beginning of August. The stock of mutton and lamb is now around 2,200 tonnes, 1,000 tonnes more than the end of July stock. The regulation for beef and veal was empty in mid-June, but has increased to just under 2,000 tonnes.
