(Bergens Tidende): Thursday was the first day Hilde Onarheim was back after being transferred to Haukeland Hospital, writes Bergens Tidende.

– Everything happened really fast. The dog ran and grabbed my hip. The owner finally managed to remove it.
Onarheim started bleeding from the wound to the ankle.
"It was easier to bite your ankle than my big hip," she says.
Now, she is only relieved that there has not been a small child who has been attacked.
– Imagine if my husband and I had one of the grandchildren with it. Or if someone else with young children has been assigned this road, she says and sneaks.
After the incident, Onarheim received both tetanus and penicillin. But after a week, it still works.
While on his way to a Høyres County Council meeting on Saturday, he drank and burned the wound. As an educated health worker, she understood that she might have had swelling a little too long.
"I should have been a nurse, even though I did not have a fever, but then I showed a picture of the injury to a party colleague, our health committee doctor.
Lost a party member
The colleague almost ordered him to go to Volvat. And when the fever rose to 39 degrees on Monday, that brought Haukeland.
There has been an operation and high doses of intravenous antibiotics, as she still receives it.
– Good dressing, compression and analgesics approx. every four hours it helps, even if sometimes there is a lot of pain and gives the impression of "biting".
Then she thinks of the dog.
"I've probably become more skeptical about dogs now than before.I think people recognize that dogs can bite.
Onarheim chose to report the incident, but the owner had killed the dog the next morning.
– But everyone does not think it was right to make a report. There is one who left the right after, she says.
– Because you warned the owner of the dog to the police?
– Yes, that was the reason.
Found resistant bacteria
Thursday afternoon, she received answers to blood tests. The doctors found a bacterium resistant to penicillin.
After the dog bite, the mayor candidate for Høje is a little more thoughtful if she will die door to door and take the election campaign.
"It's important for dog owners to make sure ties stay in place or sign that they have an angry dog."
