Most of us have ice bags in the kitchen bin. On the other hand, they rarely take the trouble to fill them with water, put them in the freezer, to fight to get them out.
On Monday, Marit Dahl Sivertsen from Porsanger to Finnmark is busy with this problem. She wanted cold elements in the summer heat. But for the first time, Sivertsen turned the packaging into bags of ice cubes. Then she had a surprise.
– It was really very accidental that I turned my back. Nobody really reads a manual on making ice cubes.
For 40 years, she struggled, like most others, to extract one and an icebreaker that went off in a random direction. The user's manual revealed a much simpler solution, says Sivertsen
– I had an "aha" experience. It was so brilliant and I can not understand and understand that I have worked with it for so many years.
Watch the video at the top of the case!
1.2 million views
] Sivertsen decided to document his very first "correct opening" of an ice cream sack. She chose to share the revelation on Facebook.
– I would spread the message happy further. This is the general knowledge that people should know.
And it is clear that there is a lack of information among consumers when it comes to opening ice cream sacks. In less than two days, the video has received more than 1.2 million views, and tens of thousands of episodes on Facebook.
– It's pretty funny that so many people have watched the video. This may indicate that there are many who do not know this trick, "says Sivertsen
Coop was also unconscious
Norway's Coop Communications Manager, Lise Mette Kjellberg, telling TV 2 that the video is became the big conversation of the week. at headquarters
– Many of us did not know either that it was so that they were working. Those who are responsible for the purchases were obviously aware, but not the rest, says Kjellberg
She thinks it's fun as the video engages.
– We read a little in the comment box on the video. Some people write that this is the case throughout their lives, while most people call it too rotten and revolutionary. It is clear that most people do not know it.
She says that Coop has never received any investigation into the difficulty of opening the bags.
– I think no one has complained since most people have the intention of it's just like that. I think that's why many have reacted too. There is now a solution that really exists all the time!
Short Sales
Coop announces to TV 2 that she usually sells about 80,000 of these ice packs in the year. This has now doubled.
– We find that sales have doubled after the release of the film on Facebook! We think a lot of people will try this house in the kitchen now, says Kjellberg.
Sivertsen will also buy sacks of ice cream more frequently.
– There will be sacks of ice cream in the future yes
