The 32-year-old spoke of the weekend's loss to Cardiff (1-0), the first after Saturday's tragic helicopter crash.

Schmeichel says that he was on the pitch and praised the club's boss, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who finished his helicopter after the 1-1 match against West Ham. Seconds later, the helicopter crashed to the ground and the life of the club chief and four other people.

– I saw everything. There is something that will unfortunately follow me the rest of my life. This is not a good memory, but I have all the support I need, said the Dane who, along with Jamie Vardy, Wes Morgan, Harry Maguire and the former coach Claudio Ranieri went to Thailand to attend the funeral of Srivaddhanaprabha.

The funeral began Saturday and will last until November 9. It takes place in a Buddhist temple in Bangkok, but Leicester players return Monday to England to prepare for Saturday's game against Burnley.
