"Happy Now", released Friday, is a Kygo song and Swedish Sandro Cavazzo teamed up in the Los Angeles studio before the summer.


– I've discovered Sandro thanks to Avicii's music and I've been since a big fan, writes Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, aka Kygo, by email.


Cavazzo sang on "Without You" from Avicii, released in 2017 and which became a new hit after Avicii's death on April 20th. He has now sunk more than 400 million times on Spotify.


There was also "Without You" Kygo played at the giant Coachella festival in the United States in front of 70,000 people the same night the message of death was heard.


"That's why it's especially special to work with Sandro in the studio, and we've talked a lot about how Avicii's music meant for us," Kygo said.


He is halfway to the tour in Asia. Tonight, Thursday, he plays in a large covered arena in Manila. Japan, Indonesia, South Korea and Singapore are waiting before returning to Bergen on November 6th.


"There have been a lot of trips and tournaments this year, so I'm thinking of staying a lot at home in Bergen the rest of the year, 2019 will be a lot quieter when it comes to the game and the fart, but I plan to publish many new songs, says Kygo.


He points out that he has written a lot of new music in the last six months.


– "Happy Now" will be the first of several singles to appear. I really think it's the beginning of a new musical chapter, "Kygo said.
