Police chief Møre og Romsdal said Tuesday at 14:13 that emergency services were going to Elnesvågen due to a fire in a dwelling.

The fire quickly spread – the real estate complex has six housing units.

A woman should be taken to the hospital in connection with the fire. The extent of the injury is unknown.

The police ask residents north of the chimney to close the windows because of the smoke.

According to the fire department, there is no one in the houses anymore. Police confirmed that there was a proliferation risk in several directions, but no evacuation of nearby buildings has been undertaken.

Updated at 3:05 pm: It looks like there is a control over the fire now. A Molde trail car caused them to put water directly on the flames. A stop is therefore in progress.

Update at 14:50: The newspaper Romsdals Budstikk may report that it is still burning inside the complex and that the extinguishing work is in progress.

Seed firefighters are assisted by Molde firefighters in their firefighting work.

The case is being updated.
