Hollywood star Meg Ryan (56) and musician John Mellencamp (67) have been making waves for eight years, but they are getting married now.

Meg Ryan reports Instagram that she is betrothed. Under a drawing of herself and the music star, she writes only one word – in capital letters: "Engaged!".
The movie star has nearly 400,000 followers of the image sharing service, and thousands of happy wishes have been sent to her by mail.
The couple is an old-fashioned lover for eight years. In particular, long distance has made relationship management difficult. While living in New York, it has its permanent base in Indiana. Mellencamp told the magazine Rolling stone in 2013, he did not seem to be able to move to New York.
"I'm too sensitive to live here, it's impossible to see the poor, I can not see the pain, seeing garbage in the street is untenable," he said.
Since 2017, however, the romance is stable and it now goes against weddings for both.
