Microsoft buys Obsidian and InXile

During the weekend XO18 event, Microsoft has confirmed rumors of an acquisition of Obsidian Entertainment. The deal is now in a box, but the company has not only agreed with it and has announced that it has also secured inXile Entertainment.

Obsidian is famous for his work with titles such as Star Wars: The Knights of the Old Republic II, Fallout: New Vegas and Pillars of Eternity. InXile has in turn delivered games like Wasteland 2, Torment: Tides of Numenera and Bard's Tale IV.
