The Italian oil giant Eni and HitecVision agree to merge their Norwegian oil companies,
The new oil and gas giant will have about 800 employees after the merger.
The company wants a daily output of 180,000 barrels of oil equivalent, making it one of the largest of the Norwegian continental shelf. Production is expected to reach 250,000 barrels by 2023.
The company plans to invest 65 billion Norwegian kroner in the NCS over the next five years. The company will operate from the North Sea to the Barents Sea
Property in 17 production fields on the NCS and ten projects under development.
Our energy will be owned by Eni (69.6 percent) and HitecVision (30.4 percent)
