Netflix tests an "ultra" subscription

Soon, a new, more expensive Netflix subscription will be announced, reports the Italian website TuttoAndroid.

Several European users received a fourth type of subscription, called Ultra, last week, between 16.99 and 19.99. euro per month. The most expensive subscription today, Netflix Premium, costs 13.99 euros per month, or 139 crowns in Norway.

Willingness to Pay Test

Netflix confirms the new subscription level of the American Cnet site. According to the spokesman for the spokesperson, they are testing different prices to "better understand how consumers value Netflix."

In other words, how much are they willing to pay for the different parts of Netflix's offer?

The prices that they test are between 20 and 40% higher than the most expensive subscription of today. Here in Norway, there will probably be 169 or 199 crowns a month.

Some users report that today's Premium subscription reduces the number of simultaneous video streams from four devices. two devices, as well as deleted access to HDR hardware. In the same price plan, the cheapest standard subscription has also been made worse by reducing to a single simultaneous broadcast of standard HD hardware.

On all the screens that have appeared to date, Ultra Subscription now offers the Premium subscription: 4K with HDR and a maximum of four simultaneous video streams.
