New trailer compares new MediEvil to original 20-year-old

At the PlayStation Experience conference last year, Sony released MediEvil Remake, a refurbished version of the classic PlayStation from 1998. The unveiling was vague on most details, but in a new trailer, the society shows more what players can expect.

As you can see, the video contains an overview of the new experience, which has been fully recreated from the bottom up. Several comparisons also show the appearance of the original, for those who do not remember it or who have never played it, and the visual delays introduced in the new version.

New chance of an unhappy knight

MediEvil follows the story of Sir Daniel Fortesque, often referred to simply as Sir Dan. The protagonist who suddenly ended his war in the war against the evil Lord Zarok suddenly awakes alive and has a new chance to save the kingdom of Gallowmere.

As a skeleton, players must use a shield and swords to fight hordes with other undead and various cruel beasts. MediEvil offers games and action-packed platform sequences, along with various puzzles.

The game is refurbished in collaboration with Other Ocean Software. who previously provided the PlayStation 4 version of Thimbleweed Park and the Nintendo 3DS version of Minecraft. Sony has not yet given us an official release date for MediEvil, but the launch of the game is scheduled for 2019. It is currently confirmed on PlayStation 4.
