Prime Minister Erna Solberg (H) cut the rope and opened Tuesday the new building of the Haraldsplass Diaconal Hospital in Bergen. The prime minister grew up in the neighborhood and knows the hospital as a family member.

"The patients are in good hands in Haraldsplass," Erna Solberg said in her speech.

Since the beginning in 1871, health care is dispensed and the hospital is currently specialized in geriatrics. The hospital is the most modern in Norway and one of the three largest hospitals in the country.

Health Minister Høie discussed the next election wave in his speech and pointed out that the hospital's specialization in the care of the elderly will benefit from the future.

"We need the treatment you give Haraldsplass, and we will need it even more," said Høie.
