Games: Good news for the giant of the Japanese game.
Like Sony and Samsung, Nintendo was able to present its latest quarterly report today. Unlike the first two, the Japanese gaming giant had no bad news in stock
Good sales figures
As part of the quarterly report, Nintendo has updated its sales figures. Note that the following numbers correspond to the number of units sold at the store and not the consumer.
Switch Consoles: 19.67 million units
Switch Games: 86.93 million copies
Nintendo 3DS Consoles: 72.89 million units
Games Nintendo 3DS: 367.84 million copies
In comparison, only 13.5 million Wii U consoles were sold
Nintendo sales are so impressive that the Japanese game console market has increased for the first time in ten years.
Sony sells more
The last quarter sold 1.88 million Switch consoles, which is a lot less than the 3.2 million PlayStation consoles. Unlike the previous quarter, Nintendo sold 430,000 more consoles than its competitors.
