Nordlaks tests the insect meal for frying

Slight insecticide production

According to Skretting, there is little insecticide on the European market. They hope that by 2022 there will be at least five different manufacturers, each able to produce 20,000 tonnes a year. This equates to about two-thirds of the soy concentrate that Skretting uses today.

In parallel with the insecticide tests, Skretting is trying to prepare food with raudo (calanus).
