Air France partner KLM entered into a partnership with Widerøe early this year. Thursday, it is confirmed that Air France also signs a "code sharing agreement" with Widerøe.
The agreement means that passengers can travel with both companies on the same reservation:
– Our cooperation with Widerøe will be of great importance to Norwegians living in the districts. Direct connection to an international network of destinations on a single ticket will increase freedom of movement, says Halvor Gløersen, Air France Commercial Director KLM Norway
This new partnership will give travelers a new approach to the international network of Air France.
The agreement came into force on July 2.
Air France added an AF code on Widerøes' domestic routes, allowing passengers to change flights to Oslo and Bergen to continue their journey with the same ticket. We are pleased that our customers are getting more travel options to choose from. The major Air France and KLM networks provide access to more destinations for Widerøe customers and better access to all of Norway for foreign tourists, "says Christian Skaug, Widerøe Commercial Director
