The subsidiary of Norwegian, Arctic Aviation Assets, has signed an agreement to sell five of the company's Airbus A320neo.
The five aircraft are currently leased to other companies and are not operated by Norwegian. The sale will be finalized in the fourth quarter of 2018, which will increase cash by $ 62 million in Norwegian once all taxes, royalties and debts are settled.
According to a press release published by Norwegian, the amount of sales will be used to pay the debt and enter the finances of Norway.
The five aircraft are likely to be the same as those leased to Hong Kong Express and were delivered in 2016 and 2017 to the company in China, leased from Arctic Aviation.
