According to the quarterly report, new orders exceeded just over NOK 1.9 billion, up from 370 million at the same time last year.
Before taxes, the profit for the second quarter of the year was NOK 45 million, down by NOK 147 million.
Kværner achieved a turnover of just over 1.8 billion Norwegian kroner, compared to 1.5 billion Norwegian kroner in the same quarter of last year.
– We deliver online with our planned development this year. The second quarter results reflect the fact that we have not started to take margins on recently awarded projects. The figures also reflect that we are now in a period of less significant effects of premiums and incentives compared to the last quarters, "said Karl-Petter Løken, CEO of Kværner in a press release.
