HAUGESUND – SANDEFJORD 4-2
Sandefjord led 2-0 and finished his first win since April, but ran into trouble when Haugesund turned 4-2 after a break.
With two goals, Pontus Engblom gave Vestfold's guests a golden chance to score their first three points in 14 games. He scored two quick goals from the FKH between 64 and 66 minutes, an efficient stop, and on the tampo also smoked the only point.
So, the waiting time of Sandefjord continues to Eliteserien. The team has not won a series game since Start was activated on April 2nd. The facade has since shown three draws and eleven defeats. This is against a net slowdown for Sandefjord, which counts six points after 16 matches.
Engblom is the bright spot of an otherwise late season. On Sunday, the Swede showed the goalkeeper of his former home team after eight minutes. After being well played by Håvard Storbæk, Sandefjord's goal put the ball safe for FKH goalkeeper Per Kristian Bråtveit.
Haugesund was pushing visitors back, and the Sandefjord attacks were taking a lot of time. But defensively, FKH players had better days of work. Five minutes before the break, Engblom doubled Sandefjord's lead to 2-0
Ruthless with himself
This time was the goal of the lucky battle. With a slippery foot, the 26-year-old put the ball straight on Bråtveit, but was hit by the return and so the ball was trapped in the net masks. It was England's fifth goal for the season. That means he's accounted for nearly 40% of Sandefjord's scores at Eliteserien this year.
During the break, Erik Horneland, coach of Bråtveit and Haugesund, took a settlement with his own defense team
. Horneland.
– Amateur error. What we do behind us is miserable, meaning Haugesund's last chance.
Engblom was injured in the first half of the game and had to leave after 52 minutes. The rest of the match was a nightmare for the guests.
After a little over an hour, David Akintola broke into the equation. In the foreground, Kristoffer Haraldseid did a great job beating two or three at the deadline and he stepped in. Two minutes later, Ben Karamoko slammed 2-2 after a corner
Grindheim points
The match seems to end in a draw, but after 90 minutes, FKH shows strength in another corner. This time, Christian Grindheim has recovered the ball on the ball from Alexander Stølås. The hosts were not finished and three minutes later, Bruno Leite arrived on the list of goals
He recovered the ball from Grindheim and sent it on Eirik Holmen Johansen unscrupulously in the goal of Sandefjord.
While Sandefjord is at the end of the table, Haugesund number five.
The next round at Eliteserien is not until the first weekend of August. Then the FKH goes north to meet Tromsø in Alfheim, while Sandefjord fights against Vålerenga.
