The Oslo Stock Exchange started the week with a rise after a long period of decline and turbulence. The main index rose 1.5% to 875.78 points.

Equinor was the most traded and the stock advanced 1.37%. In addition, Aker BP (-2.67%), DNB (+1.19), Norsk Hydro (-0.26) and Telenor (+2.59) followed the sales list.

The Next Biometrics group had the largest increase and reached 8.20% at NOK 49.50 per share. Rec Silicon has completely dropped to the bottom of the list with a drop from 4.44% to 0.69%.

Shareholder Peter Hermanrud of SpareBank1 Markets believes that the worst slowdown in the Oslo Stock Exchange is over.

– It looks like a classic correction, which usually changes over time. There is nothing very new and serious that has happened on the market, "said Hermanrud at E24.

He says the price trend in itself was the new Monday.

"I suppose the market has reached its lowest point or we will reach bottom in two weeks," he said.

The main exchanges in Europe end on Monday. The DAX 30 in Frankfurt rose by 1.65%, the FTSE 100 in London by 1.58% and the CAC 40 in Paris opened the stock market with a rise of 0.85%.

A barrel of oil from the North Sea was traded Monday afternoon for $ 77.49, down 0.24% during the day, while US light oil lost 0.47% and was sold for a barrel of 67.12 dollars.
