The newspaper writes that the 59-year-old woman has polyneopathy, which means that the peripheral nerves of the body, especially the feet, cause nerve signals. The disease can cause paralysis and makes it difficult for many to walk.

Fight for the title of heavyweight

"The development of polyneopathy can have many causes, but boxing is in fact not part of it," says Chief Medical Officer Sigrid Svalheim, from the Rikshospitalet Neurology Department at Tønsbergs Blad.

Svalheim declares that the treatment is done by finding the cause. If the cause is not found, the disease can progress slowly.

According to Tønsbergs Blad, Tangstad will be on the shelves in Tønsberg next summer, while the book will be 60 years old.
