NTNU participated in the competition for the Shell Eco Marathon in London, "World Championship" for energy-efficient cars for a decade. At the weekend, they went almost to the top, led by Sivert Red Hatletveit of Molde.

The car achieved an energy consumption equivalent to 176.4 kilometers per kilowatt hour in the competition.

– If the car had the same amount of energy as a fully loaded Tesla Model S100 D, it could have traveled a distance of 17,640 kilometers! Sivert Hatletveit of Molde is project leader of the Norwegian team to present his electric car at the Shell Eco Marathon .
