It is forbidden to bring a dog to the beach in most places of the Costa Blanca. In recent years, however, several municipalities have created their own bathing beaches, where dogs and owners can enjoy beach life together. From Dénia in the north to Torrevieja in the south, there are nine beaches of this type today. A complete list of the entire province of Honduras is reproduced below:
Playa Escollera (north), Dénia
The section of the beach dedicated to dogs is about 100 meters long and 25 meters wide .
Playa Mar y Montaña, Altea
The beach is hard to find by car, surrounded by a residential area. If you want to park, Villa Gadea parking is an option.
Cala del Xarco, Villajoyosa
Small beach of gravel and stone located south of Villajoyosa.
Cala del Barranc d'Aigües, Campello
The beach is located in Torre Vigía, near the protected natural park Lloma de Reixes.
Punta del Riu Beach, Campello
This dog beach is located between the two largest sandy beaches of Campello, Muchavista and Carrer la Mar. The area is widely visited.
Agua Amarga Beach, Alicante
Named first beach welcoming dogs of Spain, where one could also swim the dog early in the summer. The beach is specially designed with its own dog menu at the beach bar.
Caleta del Gossets, Santa Pola
The beach is part of Calas del Cuartel and is located against the Cabo de Santa Pola Natural Park. Stone and sand.
Cala del Moro, Torrevieja
South of the coastal area of Cabo Cervera is Cala del Moro. The beach is close to a residential area and consists of sand and rock formations. Recently created.
Punta Margalla, Torrevieja
Near a mile of beach towards Palangre. Recently created.
