A bombing group investigates a package in Manhattan addressed to actor Robert De Niro.
According to CNN, the package, which is under investigation early Thursday morning in the United States, has more similarities with parcels sent, among others, to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and George Soros, which were found to contain bombs.
He has six stamps and the same return address. The bomb was sent to the Niros office in Tribeca District, Lower Manhattan, where the actor also has a restaurant.
The actor is a famous critic of President Donald Trump. At the Tony Prize theater award this summer, he declared "Faen Trump".
"I just want to say one thing … The madman takes Trump," said the popular actor and director before raising his arms and receiving standing applause from the audience.
