For five generations, the Johannson family has grown to become a grocery giant in Norway. With his father and uncle, Johan Johannson owns just over 74% of NorgesGruppen's shares. After an internal restructuring of companies at the end of 2016, the entire NorgesGruppen was valued at 41 billion euros internally, an estimate that should be cautious.

Torbjørn and Knut Hartvig have already stated that the sisters could be part of the family business if they had wanted to.

When Liv Johannson is confronted with the statements of her brother, she exclaims:
– Now they have to stop saying it. It's really bullshit. I have never been involved in anything. Father spoke to my brothers about the company, but omitted my sister and me she told the newspaper.
