The medical lapse gave the doctor warning this winter, and thought to have violated several sections of the Health Personnel Act. According to the Channel, the county governor received a worrying message from a Trondheim doctor in 2016 who had discovered that one of his patients had also received large amounts of addictive medications from the practitioner private. Finally, the patients covered supervised patients. Several of them have been treated by the doctor since 2003 and the Norwegian Health Council has determined that the treatment of seven of these patients is irresponsible professionally
The Norwegian Council on Health and Welfare states among others: emphasizes that there is no diagnosis. According to an anonymous tip, a cancer patient who did not use public health care received treatment with apricot kernels, turmeric, vitamin C, a fever treatment and some alternative medicines. Some of them were illegally imported from Switzerland and Sweden.
The doctor does not even want to comment on the warning to NRK, but told the Norwegian Health Authority that patients were volunteering for him. He also self-criticized for the fact that for many years he misled to print large amounts of tablets to one of his patients, in addition to the tablets that the patient received from his predecessor.
