11,655 new passenger cars were registered in October, according to the reports of the Road Traffic Advisory Committee (FVO).

Among the brands, Volkswagen took over the throne of Tesla after a weak September. More than 14% of all cars registered in October were Volkswagen. Tesla, meanwhile, had a very quiet month after a busy September, delivering only 201 cars in October. This gave them a market share of only 1.7%.
Behind Volkswagen followed Nissan (11.7%) and Toyota (10.3%).
One brand that has probably had a record month is Jaguar, which released 458 cars in October. This was obviously due to the start of the delivery of the electric car i-Pace, despite a starting price of 600,000 crowns (650,000 now, after a rise in prices in early October) that has sold well. According to OFV, i-Pace was even the fifth most registered car in Norway in October, and Jaguar is the seventh largest car.
In comparison, Jaguar delivered 23 cars the same month last year and 125 cars in September.
Where is Hyundai Kona?
Hyundai Kona is a car remarkably absent from statistics. Although the OFV does not publish any other figures than the best-selling car models so far this year, we can deduce that Hyundai has not delivered more than 136 women in October.
That's a bad thing, throughout the year, Hyundai was expected to deliver 2,500 vehicles in 2018. At the time of writing this paper, 536 female electricians have been delivered, according to elbilstatistikk.no.
Marketing director Christian Stenbo, at Hyundai, said that they were still in the initial phase of production and that it was difficult with two months of shipping time in Norway. He says he's not going to call the situation a delay.

Stenbo also says that they received a car delivery at the end of October, which does not cover monthly statistics.
1000 new
After ordering from all customers, including those who did not initially have a license number, Hyundai received 1,000 new orders on July 2, Stenbo said.
"This comes from customers who are very much aware that we are expecting a delivery as of the second half of 2020, and despite the fact that we have made it clear that they should expect a price adjustment. We must take into account the factory adjustments over a period of two years, "said Stenbo, who also takes this opportunity to launch a strike against sister brand and competitor Kia, who released the award for his new e-Niro earlier this week.
The size and range of the two cars' batteries are virtually identical, but Niro is a slightly larger car.
