The forest fire of Nordre Mangen was reported by the East Police District on Twitter just before Thursday 19 in the evening. Firefighters and police were sent to the place.

– We are working to get a glimpse of the fire now. It has a large scale and so we ordered a helicopter of wildfire. We have teams of two stations in the area. It's hard to say how much it burns, but it's about 100 feet wide, says Espen Stabell, head of the East, IKS at 110-year-old NTB

. The fire was threatening not to Established, but was getting closer to some high-voltage lines. At 9:30 pm, the police told NTB that the fire was smaller and that there was no wind in the area.

The forest is located east of the municipality of Aurskog-Høland, but the smoke was visible over long distances. Firefighters, on the other hand, were heading for two new lights, one at Kollerødtjernet in Aremark, east of Ostfold, the other at Kløftetjern at Østmarka at Ytre Enebakk. According to the East Police District, none of the fires has threatened housing.

The cause of the fires is unknown, but no case of firefighter or other activities that may have caused them has been reported.
