NRK writes that the temperature readings at Tafjord and Surnadal have been established on the so-called winter day 14 October. The temperature was 0.1 degree lower than the old record. The former was in Molde in 2005 and measures 25.6 degrees.
According to NRK, in 13 of the 21 weather stations that recorded a record, temperatures were above 20 degrees. Five of them had more than 20 degrees for the first time.
"The hot weather that caused some of these recordings is created by masses of air squeezed between low pressure and high pressure. In Bergen, the remains of tropical hurricane Michael were in the Atlantic the October 11 and 12. In the Tafjord and Surnadal, we had some wind for a few seconds, which made the weather even hotter, said meteorologist John Smits at the canal.
November also opened the least. Sunday, 12 to 13 degrees are pleasant in Surnadal, where more people on social networks post more than 15 degrees images of their graduates on Sunday morning.
The good "winter time" should continue. The weather forecast for the coming weeks speaks of some precipitation and temperatures for the entire Nordmøre region.
